Hello Everyone! We are back with yet another "COVID wedding" experience.
Yes, before I share the entire experience, I wore mask throughout the event.
The minute I entered the "Marigold hotel", we were stopped by the staff for temperature check & sanitisation.
There was a note written and pasted at the hotel entrance " NO MASK NO ENTRY ". A list of all attendees were maintained with their contact details like names & phone numbers to keep track and check on the attendees.
Such small steps of precautions were quite reassuring about everyone's safety.
Right after that, I entered the bride's dressing room, the makeup artist & her assistant had their masks & gloves on. I took a good scan of the room and had few planned shots of the bride while she's getting ready for her wedding day.
I started clicking her accessories while she was getting the base done and her getting ready shots.
While making my way to the wedding hall, I observed that the gathering count has drastically gone thin with hardly about 50 people in the event. All the guests entering the venue were wearing masks and sanitized at the entrance of the venue.
It was quite refreshing to see all the guests understanding the safety measures and following the new normal. The closed ones too avoided all sorts of physical contact like hugs & handshakes with the couple. Though we were able to take group pictures of immediate & respective families with the couple.
The best part of the event was we got ample amount of time to do portraits of the bridesmaids, friends, cousins and parents. Another thing that I have observed during covid pandemic is, all the recent wedding events has moved to morning hours, That's a good sight too !
So, In case you're attending or having a COVID wedding, you can check our recent blogs which talks about the "COVID Guidelines" & some "Venue suggestions for COVID wedding "
